Awards for Classes Celebrating Reunion
Class of 1947 Cayuga Society Bowl recognizes planned gifts and is awarded to the class with
the most Cayuga Society members in a reunion year. The Cayuga Society recognizes alumni
and friends who have established planned gifts to the university or who have provided for
Cornell in their estate plans through a bequest or other vehicle.
Class of 1956 Cup recognizes dollars raised and is awarded to reunion classes that meet or
exceed the consumer price index, inflation-adjusted figure for the original amount of
$2,010,100 that the class raised in honor of their 25th Reunion in 1981.
Class of 1958 Bowl recognizes dollars raised and is awarded to reunion classes that raise $1
million or more in their respective reunion campaigns.
Class of 1974 Bowl recognizes donor participation and is awarded to any reunion class that
reaches 1,000 donors to their reunion campaign.
Class of 1977 Tower Club Award recognizes Tower Club membership and is awarded to those
classes that meet or exceed 122 Tower Club members which is what the Class of 1977 reached
in honor of their 25th reunion campaign.
Class of 1979 Cup recognizes donor loyalty and is awarded to those classes that have a
minimum of either 300 donors, or 55% of their donors, make a gift each and every year from
one reunion to the next.
Class of 1981 – 1865 Award is awarded to the reunion class with the most, new 1865 society
members in their reunion year. This awarded was established in 2019.
Class of 2007 Award recognizes donor participation and is awarded to any Senior Class who
reaches or exceeds 50% participation in the Senior Class campaign.
